Our juicy Authentic Mango Chutney is the perfect addition to the classic summertime dish of Coronation Chicken. Popping it into wraps with salad makes it super easy to serve at a picnic.



Coronation Chicken Wraps

  • 1 onion
  • Olive oil for frying
  • 1 tbsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tbsp tomato puree
  • 1 bay leaf
  • Lemon juice
  • 150 ml water
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 50 g mayonnaise
  • 75 g creme fraiche
  • 2 tbsp In A Pickle Authentic Mango Chutney
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Fresh parsley
  • Rocket
  • Soft flour tortillas


  • 1. Finely dice the onion and fry in olive oil until softened, then stir through the curry powder, tomato puree, a dash of lemon juice and water. Add the bay leaf and simmer until reduced by half.
    2. Discard the bay leaf and transfer the curry mixture to a bowl to cool. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and fry gently so it cooks through but doesn?t turn crispy.
    3. Mix the mayonnaise and cr?me fraiche, then stir through the curry mixture, cooked chicken and In A Pickle Authentic Mango Chutney. Add a sprinkling of chopped fresh parsley, a splash of lemon juice, and season with salt and black pepper.
    4. To serve, pop into soft flour tortillas with plenty of fresh rocket.
